Another short and sweet post this one will be. I don't know why I wrote that sentence like Yoda, but I'm going to leave it that way. I'm currently writing this at 5 AM on ~6 hours of sleep. Yesterday was the first day of the week/two weeks from hell for me at work. LFC is going live this weekend so they are trying to get everything squared away for that. This means they are going to be messaging me a lot. This also means I have to work this weekend.

Beyond that though, I'm fairly light at work with no other major things I'm handling. I did start on a small task that is in our backlog for migrating some Terraform modules for utilization in a new process, but I did not make a ton of progress on that yet.

Besides that, I did my typical walk at lunch (3.2 miles in 54 minutes) and waited out the clock at work.

If I'm being abundantly honest, every day is

After work, I watched some Invincible (almost caught up). Maddie got home around 5 PM, and we went for another walk (1.7 miles in 33 minutes). After that, we left to go check on her parent's dog/chickens as they are on a cruise right now. We hung out there for about an hour to spend some time with the dog. We decided to grab dinner out at Freddy's since we didn't feel like cooking. We got our standard order (two of the Freddy's burger meals, one with fries, the other with cheese curds). The employee was super friendly and gave us the weirdest suggestion: to dip the cheese curds in caramel sauce. We didn't believe her, but she brought us some caramel (for free!) and it was surprisingly good!

We made it home around 7:30/7:45 and watched some more Keith Eats the Menu. Maddie also worked on repairing Winnie's dog bed with some iron-on patches (Winnie is not a fan so far). We head to bed around 9:15ish and I finished my last book (Secrets of the Stoics). Overall, it was okay, but it felt more like a pamphlet than an actual book. I did some searching to find a new book and settled on Revenge of the Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell as that sounded fairly interesting. I read about a chapter of that and am excited to keep reading it tomorrow.

Thanks for reading and see you tomorrow!
