Song of the Day: Bezos I - Bo Burnham

Current Book: Tipping Point - Malcolm Gladwell

If you are reading this, then you obviously know that the blog did not nd yesterday. It was my attempt at an April Fool's joke, but due to the nature of how I write these, it was delayed by a day. I hope all two of you didn't get too down about it.

Yesterday was a pretty standard workday. I'm still in the process of working on that larger project that my boss assigned to me three days before I am going to be out for two weeks.

So I am rushing to get that done (in addition to the other stuff I have like service requests). I'm also waiting for another team to finish up their portion before I can wrap up the internal portion and start testing with the tenant. Luckily, the work is fairly straightforward; it just needs to be implemented. I had to go for my walk early in the morning since I had one of those wonderful things called a lunch meeting. In total, I walked 3.12 miles in 51 minutes. After returning from that, I was in meetings for the next couple of hours before I returned to work on the project. I wrapped up what I needed to and held it for the end of the day. I surprisingly managed to log off work on time for the first time in a while at 5 PM.

After work, Maddie and I had originally intended to make some dinner at home and finish up White Lotus, but we ended up getting dinner out at a Mexican restaurant with my mom. It was a really nice dinner with a lot of not-nice talking about other people (the best kind!). We stayed there for quite a while (~2 hours by my estimate). Upon getting home, I watched a bit of YouTube before heading to bed.

I'm getting very close to the end of my current book! Thanks for reading and see you tomorrow!
